Mediation is concerned with the collection
of billing information from the network (typically
in CDR Call Detail Record format), ensuring
the integrity of the data and processing it
into standard formats for delivery to post-processing
systems such as a Billing Application.
Montague Technology's Mediation solutions
are capable of collecting data feeds from
multiple different manufacturer platforms
and standardizing them. This means if a
new equipment element is introduced into
the network all that is required is a Mediation
module specific to that platform and not
a recode of downstream systems.
Montague Technology currently support mediation
of multiple manufacturer switches - where
an equipment element is not supported we
are happy to work with a client to add this
to our product portfolio, typically with
very fast turnaround times.
